Warning about facility rules AND New lease!

Lafayette Band Association has signed a new lease with our facility operators, DHT Charitable Gaming. We are now able to continue Bingo, pulltabs, raffles, and electronic slot machines on an ongoing basis. In addition DHT has upgraded the facility’s air conditioning, and continues to work to improve the bathrooms.

Based on negotiations around this lease renewal, Lafayette Band Association warns patrons that all facility rules (that is, rules established by the facility operators) must be followed. LBA and the facility operators will be enforcing all facility rules.

A few of the rules that the facility operators have established that patrons need to be aware of include:

  • No parking in the fire lanes or in front of the dumpster. The fire lane is anywhere along the side or front of the building with a yellow painted curb, or where diagonal stripes mark off an area of the parking lot. There is also a diagonally striped restricted area in front of the dumpster. Anyone parking in one of these restricted areas WILL BE TOWED at the owners expense.

You MAY park in the parking spaces behind the new fence next to the new flex space recently constructed, and you MAY park up the hill in the open back area behind the neighboring shops. Remember not to block access to any loading areas or dumpsters.
  • No outside food in commercial packaging is allowed in the Bingo Hall. Persistent offenders will be asked to leave the Bingo Hall.
  • All activity in the Bingo Hall is being video and audio recorded and if, in the judgement of the facility operators (or the LBA Bingo Chair) you are being aggressive or abusive in any way towards other patrons, volunteers, LBA Bingo personnel, or DHT employees, family members, or contractors, you will be asked to leave the Bingo Hall. Note that DHT reserves the exclusive right to determine what is or is not “aggressive” or “abusive” behavior.
